I love Mixed Roots products. I've used the oil gel for a few years now and it's well worth the price. It allows my curls to air dry or scrunch out of the shower, but then holds them in place all day long. I'm always getting compliments on how great my hair looks when I use it.

I had to try this, because I'm always looking for a good gel for my hair. And I was pleasantly surprised! This doesn't get all flaky and powdery when you touch your hair. It's lightweight, but it holds the curls and does what it says it does.

This product is great for all hair types and textures. I have worn my hair bone-straight, with a wave, curly and now in locs. I have used this product on all of them and love it. I just recently tried it out as a styling cream for my locs and really like it so far, haven't taken them down yet to see how long it truly lasts, but I will update after I take down the locs.

I have extremely thick hair and I have used this product on days when I wash my hair and twist it up. It holds all day, never gets hard or sticky, and smells great.

This is the best product I have used for my African American hair. I really like that it doesn't dry out my hair or leave a residue like other gels I have used. It has a great aroma and works well with my daily moisturizer. It's a keeper.
